As part of the OMAC festival agenda, the town of Pont-du-Casse was lucky to host a live music performance by Lisa Mills, who received the Nappie Prize of the best Blues Artist and whom Led Zeppelin’s lead singer, Robert Plant himself, recommends for her “marvelous voice.” Those are praises that the massive audience that showed up at the Diapason can only confirm!
Supported by her music band, with Fabrice Joussot on the guitar, Philippe Scemama on the bass, and Pascal Delmas on the drums, the singer-cum-guitar player offered them an authentic journey into the US South, at the original of Blues and Gospel music, and where she comes from. Guided by her impressive vocal range, the audience was successfully captivated by her powerful voice and then transported by her softness in more intimate ballads.
And we are lost for words to describe the finale, in which the Gloryspel choir directed by Stellia Koumba joined Lisa Mills! Chosen by the American singer, those final six songs offered a “splendid” conclusion to a “superb” live music performance, according to people who attended.
A beautiful evening that extended into a long signings session, during which everyone got a chance to exchange, in English, with an artist who has made herself available and demonstrated her generosity.

Et que dire du final pour lequel la chorale Gloryspel dirigée par Stellia Koumba a rejoint Lisa Mills ! Choisis par la chanteuse, ces six derniers morceaux offrirent aux dires des spectateurs une «splendide» conclusion à ce «superbe concert». Cette belle soirée se prolongea ensuite autour d’une longue série de dédicaces durant laquelle chacun eut l’occasion de dialoguer, en anglais, avec une artiste aussi généreuse que disponible.
